The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every job Bellows Air Duct & Vent Co. performs is covered by a straight, written, 90-day workmanship promise we call The Keystone Standard. If the work we did isn’t right within 90 days of your service date, we come back, we fix it, and we don’t charge you again. No forms to fill out, no receipt to dig up, no arguing. That’s what standing behind the work means to us, and it has been since 1984.
What’s Covered
- All workmanship on any service we performed – if a duct seal we placed lifts, a connection we made loosens, or a vent we cleared is restricted again because of how we cleaned it, that’s on us.
- Parts we supplied and installed – any component sourced and installed by our technician is covered for the full 90-day window from your service date.
- A return visit at no charge – if something isn’t right, we schedule a technician to come back. You won’t see another trip charge on the invoice.
- A full redo when a repair doesn’t hold – patching that fails, sealing that separates, or cleaning that leaves a documented obstruction gets corrected completely, not touched up.
- Job-site cleanup – our technician leaves your home in the same condition it was in before we arrived, every time. If that didn’t happen, we come back to make it right.
- Camera re-inspection – we inspect every job before and after with a camera. If the after footage doesn’t match what was promised, we treat it as an open job until it does.
What Isn’t Covered
We try to be honest about where the promise ends. None of these exclusions are tricks – they’re things most homeowners would call fair if you asked them over a cup of coffee.
- Damage caused by a storm, flood, fire, or accident after our visit – we can’t stand behind conditions that came from outside the work we did, but we’re happy to come assess what happened and tell you what we’d recommend.
- Work performed by another contractor after our visit – if a second company touched the same ductwork, we can’t speak to what changed and what didn’t. Call us before you bring someone else in and we’ll sort it out with you.
- Parts or materials the customer supplied – we stand behind the materials we specify and source. If you asked us to use a part you bought, we installed it in good faith, but the part itself isn’t ours to warrant.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install or service – aging flex duct that was already fragile, a blower motor that was near the end of its life, a system that had deferred maintenance before we arrived. Those are real conditions; they’re just not ones we created.
- Problems we flagged and you chose not to address at the time – if our technician noted a concern and documented it on the job record but you declined the additional work, we can’t cover what we weren’t authorized to fix. We will still come take another look if you change your mind.
- Equipment or systems outside the scope of your service agreement – the promise covers what we agreed to do. Anything beyond that scope is a new job, and we price those the same way: in writing, before we start.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (844) 685-6342 or book online
A live person answers that line 24 hours a day – not a voicemail, not an automated system. Tell them you’re calling about a promise claim and they’ll pull up your record right then.
Step 2: Describe the job and roughly when it was done
You don’t need to find a receipt or a confirmation email. We keep every job on file. Just tell us what was done and approximately when, and we’ll locate it.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We’ll set a time that works for you and send a background-checked, uniformed technician – the same standard as your original visit. There’s no fee to schedule a return, no deposit, nothing to sign.
Step 4: We make it right
The technician assesses what happened and corrects it. If the scope turns out to be larger than the original job, we’ll tell you that plainly, show you why, and price it honestly before touching anything new. That’s how we’ve always done it.
Timing
The 90-day window runs from your service date, which is recorded on your job record. If you notice something on day 91 or 92 and you’re not sure whether you’re covered, call us anyway. We’re reasonable people and we’d rather look at it than have you wonder. Bellows operates across eight states, and each location is independently operated – but every one of them honors this promise. The Keystone Standard isn’t a corporate marketing phrase; it’s a condition of being a Bellows location. If you’re unsure which location served you, the main line at (844) 685-6342 will get you to the right team.
Questions About the Promise
If something’s not sitting right or you just want to talk through what’s covered before you decide, call (844) 685-6342. A real person picks up. No hold music, no callback queue, no form to submit first. We’ve been doing this since 1984 and we still think the best way to answer a question is to answer it.
