"They ran a negative air machine on the whole system rather than the shop vac on a stick that the cheap outfit uses. Showed me the before and after photos from inside the trunk line and it was genuinely disgusting."

The part decides how long the repair lasts. Here is what we fit, and what the cheap version costs you later.
Air Filters
The filter is the only thing standing between your ductwork and everything floating through the house. Its rating decides how much of that actually gets captured.
We fit pleated media filters in the MERV 11 to MERV 13 range, cut to the return opening so air passes through the media instead of leaking around the frame.
The usual swap is a thin fiberglass panel in the MERV 1 to MERV 4 range. It protects the blower and very little else, so fine dust goes straight back into the ducts.
Duct Sealing
Every joint and seam in a duct system leaks a little. How those joints are sealed decides whether the air you paid to heat or cool ever reaches the room.
We seal joints with brush-applied mastic reinforced with mesh tape. Mastic stays flexible, moves with the metal, and holds its seal through years of heating and cooling cycles.
The quick fix is a wrap of cloth-backed duct tape. The adhesive dries out in attic heat within a couple of seasons, the tape curls off, and the joint is wide open again.
Flexible Duct
Flex duct feeds most bedrooms and upstairs registers. Its insulation value and inner liner decide how much air, and how much temperature, survives the trip.
We use R-8 insulated flex duct with a smooth inner core, pulled tight and supported every few feet so the run stays straight and open.
Thin R-4 flex stapled up loose sags between supports. The deep ridges choke airflow and attic heat soaks straight through the light wrap before the air gets to you.
Vent Covers and Registers
Registers and return grilles are the visible end of the system. They also control how evenly a room actually gets its air.
We install steel registers with adjustable dampers and a powder-coated finish that stays true after repeated cleaning.
Thin stamped or plastic grilles warp with heat, the louvers snap off, and the damper stops holding position, so the room is stuck wherever it was last set.
Dryer Vent Hose
The dryer vent run is the most common lint fire point in a house, and the material it is made from matters more than anything else about it.
We run rigid or semi-rigid metal dryer duct with smooth walls and taped metal joints, so lint keeps moving out of the house instead of collecting.
The strip of thin foil or vinyl accordion hose behind most dryers crushes flat against the wall, traps lint in every ridge, and is the first thing an inspector flags.
Doing It This Way Since 2012.
Bellows treats ductwork like the lungs of the house - inspected with a camera before and after, cleaned to the collar, dryer vents cleared to code because lint fires are real and preventable. No scare tactics, no $49 bait coupons that become $800 at the door: one honest price, shown before work starts.
Named for the oldest air-moving tool there is.
